Statement: Nathan Sparling stepping down as Chair of Stay Brave
Stay Brave today expresses its deep appreciation to Nathan Sparling as he plans to step down as the Chair of Stay Brave's Trustee Board.
As Chair of Stay Brave for the last two years, Nathan has demonstrated an unwavering commitment to the cause and ensuring Stay Brave is in a stable position to make lasting contributions to the journeys survivors of abuse take.
Nathan had these words to say;
“It has been great to Chair the Board of Stay Brave over the past two years, achieving charity status and implementing a structure which success can be built on.
"I’m leaving the role of Chair to allow for someone with the time to dedicate to this important role, but I’m looking forward to continuing on the Board to bring my skills and expertise alongside our ultra-talented Board and team to truly meet our mission, achieving the best for survivors of intimate and domestic violence.”
Rhodri Roberts, Stay Brave's Secretary and Vice-Chair, has been appointed as Acting-Chair while a recruitment process for a new Chair takes place. Trustee's Ashley Rudge and Imraan Sathar have also been appointed Interim-Vice Chair and Interim Secretary respectively.
Stay Brave thanks Nathan for his remarkable service and reaffirms its commitment to ensuring every survivor of rape and abuse has the help they need and respect they deserve.
