Volunteer

Our volunteer team is what makes Stay Brave unique.

Stay Brave are 100% managed by a team of passionate volunteers. We knew when founding the charity that we wanted to make something extraordinary when it comes to team structure and what it means to contribute your time to make a positive change in society.

All our roles are designed around you, with happiness in mind, where you as the volunteer are put first, so you feel as valued as we are grateful. Our roles cover a wide range of expertise, and we're all behind our strategy to break down the barriers that under-served survivors of abuse face when seeking help.

Take a look at our current open roles, and if there's something you think we're missing, please feel free to submit an open volunteer application so we can hear more about your experience.

Volunteer Roles

We are always looking for volunteers to help us to achieve our goals. We occasionally recruit for roles in our board of trustees, as well as some senior roles which have more responsibility and manage certain projects or aspects of the organisation.

No matter what your experience, if you're able to commit some of your free time to help us to raise awareness and raise funds, there's a role for you.  All of our volunteers will receive training opportunities, expenses and access to our remote working environment.

Board trustee

(communications)

We are seeking a new board member who can bring strong PR and Communications experience which can support the volunteer team with advice and guidance and ensure at a strategic level, Stay Brave maintains excellent communication with our stakeholders.

Public Fundraising Officer

The purpose of the Public Fundraising Officer role is to support all individuals who want to donate to or fundraise in support of Stay Brave. Your role will be key in engaging supporters, ensuring they know how their support makes a difference and inspiring them to want to continue giving.

Charity & team

The Charity and Team Manager will deliver Stay Brave’s strategy, create and develop programmes that meet the needs of our beneficiaries, oversee its day-to-day management and lead and develop the core volunteer team.

Trusts & Grants

Fundraising Officer

The purpose of the Trusts & Grants Fundraising Officer role is to research, identify and make applications to charitable trusts and grant making bodies to grow the charities restricted and unrestricted income.

What's it like to volunteer with us?

A role designed around you.

All our roles are designed around you with happiness in mind, where you as the volunteer are put first, so you feel as valued as we are grateful. You pick when, where and how you accomplish your tasks. We are a completely remote working organisation.

Career development and training.

We know you won't be with us forever; we encourage side-projects and career advancement. We'll provide training not just for your role, but actively help you develop your CV and your aspirations.

Freedom to create something extraordinary!

We're a new charity wishing to do things differently. Ever had an idea how things could be done better but limited by old-fashioned policies? With Stay Brave, you'll have a blank canvas to prove your ideas and develop them into proven concepts.

Other ways to help...

MAKING A DONATION

We're not shy about saying we can't do this without you. Simply, it's supporters like you that enable us to reach out to more survivors who may feel they have no voice.

Whether it's something small or a monthly gift - it makes all the difference.
