We'd be nothing without our dedicated team of volunteers, who work every day to make sure Stay Brave UK can continue to support survivors. With that in mind, we thought you'd like to meet the team! This time we hear from Keith Nunn, who looks after all of our data:
So Keith, what do you do at Stay Brave UK?
You could call me an all round data geek! My role at Stay Brave UK is focused around looking after all of the data that we as an organisation accumulate over time - ensuring it’s as up to date and as relevant as possible, but also making sure we make the best use of it we can.
Why did you join Stay Brave UK?
Slightly cliche answer here so please bear with me! Someone I was incredibly close to once upon a time had, experiences, that are relevant to SBUK aim’s. I saw the impacts of this, and it’s something that’s stuck with me over time. Seeing a note on twitter asking for someone to help and being in a position to do so I thought, ‘hey, why not!’
What do you enjoy most about your role?
It’s diverse! Still being in our infancy there’s plenty for me to get stuck into along with a whole host of fresh challenges.
What are you looking forward to most at SBUK in the coming months?
Crafting a structure, a way of working and using my experience to help Stay Brave UK really become top of its game with some of the events we have coming up!
When not working on SBUK - where would we find you?
Hmm promise not to judge? I’m quite a varied person, so I could be at home gaming (anything Sonic related especially!) Playing tennis in the summer months, or revisiting a haunt from my past also known as Sunderland! Other than this, usually in the kitchen - more precisely, the fridge!
The newest member of our team, it's up to Keith to make sure that all of our data is in order so that everything at Stay Brave UK runs as smoothly as possible!
