Walking Brave is back!
our biggest annual fundraising event is returning as a virtual event between 28/09 and 04/10
Every year, the stay brave community comes together to take on a challenge that makes every step count in the aim of breaking down the barriers that survivors face when seeking help and reporting abuse. Our 10 mile Walking Brave challenge is the perfect opportunity for us to raise the profile of abuse survivors from under-served communities and help raise vital funds to help stay brave achieve their mission.
Every year, we walk across london, to represent the journey that survivors face when building the courage to report abuse. With the ongoing coronavirus situation, Walking Brave 2020 will return as a virtual event so that supporters and survivors can take part no matter where they are in the UK. Our goal is to complete a 10 mile walk between September 28th and October 4th and for each person to raise at least £15 in donations. You can walk the route in one day, or split it over the whole week.
The walk symbolises the journey survivors take when taking those first steps towards a better future. Just like this walk, asking for help may seem easy until you're having to set off. If you'd like to take part in Walking Brave - read the information below or click the link to sign up!
